Blog re-boot and Kwik Car Wash fundraising success!

Ladies. On a computer somewhere in Parker, around six years ago, some sweet leader created this blog for the members of PEPC MOPS II.
I'm sure her vision was for it to grow, connect and entertain our members, but somewhere along the line, Facebook stole that glory and yet the blog remains.
So, I'm (Tafra) on here to see if we can re-boot this blog as a way to share information, such as this:

Local MOPS Group Raises Nearly $900 at Car Wash Fundraiser

PARKER, CO- The sun was shining and the shammies were out last Saturday as Kwik Car Wash kicked off their first charity wash of the season, benefiting PEPC MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) II. Overall, the group was able to raise nearly $900 for their scholarship funds and service projects. In addition to earning 50 percent of Kwik Car Wash’s wash sales from the fundraiser’s duration, MOPS members and volunteers were able to raise additional funds by vacuuming and towel drying vehicles after their wash.

“We believe that better moms make a better world, and all funds raised during the event go to support our mission in motherhood,” explained PEPC MOPS II Coordinator Tafra Donberger. “We would like to thank Kwik Car Wash for their support and generosity, and all patrons who generously gave to support us!”

What an AMAZING fundraiser this was for our group, and what an AMAZING business for supporting their community with charity car washes. Our 2015-2016 Fundraising Coordinator Kristin did an AWESOME job putting this labor of love into action. Thanks Kristin!!

Gotcha Fundraiser!!!

Please tell/remind your family and friends to join us at Gotcha Yogurt from 12-9 on Wed, October 5th for our MOPS Fundraiser. Make sure to mention PEPC MOPS 2 at the register!!

Our group relies on these fundraisers to keep our dues as low as possible, and all funds go to our MOPPETS teachers, crafts for our kids, etc...

Hope to see you there!

Also, our next meeting (Oct 5) we will be having a costume swap for Halloween. Please bring your costumes to swap with other moms so that they can make a decision on what else needs purchased before the holiday and our annual Trunk or Treat.

Welcome to MOPS2!

This year we have planned a variety of speakers in the hopes of finding ways to guide our family and ourselves through the adventure of motherhood- some insight on being "Mom". We'll also be doing some great craft projects and be taking time to just enjoy making friends and having that all important cup of coffee- uninterrupted by tiny hands. I can't wait!
